MOON aka Moon's Orphan

Looking for your own black beauty, or maybe Flicka? Meet Moon!

17H | 18-year-old | Papered Paint Quarter Horse Mare

Moon is a tall, stout, well-built mare with plenty of life and potential left. Don't let her age fool you -- she is young-minded, spry, energetic, and ready for a job!

She has had a fairly easy life, starting as a trail horse and then mostly sitting for the past 6 years. She is now in my program getting legged up, tuned up, and prepared for her next owner. She has been great to work with and is willing to learn.

She could make a great partner for:

Ranch work

Ranch rodeo

Pickup-man work

Challenging trail riding

Ponying racehorses

* Walk, trot, lope

* Smooth ride

* Nice stop & backs well

* Soft mouth

* Moves off leg pressure

* Side passes

* Rides in a halter or bit

* Picks up all four feet

* Stands tied

* Easy to catch

* Lowers her head for halter & headstall

Moon is best suited for an experienced rider who can give her a job and continue building on what she knows.
