Our Head Start program is seeking an Education Coordinator to oversee classroom quality, mentor teaching staff, and elevate our inclusive learning environments.

We are open to a variety of backgrounds. A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education and experience teaching preschool age children is preferred, but other degrees may qualify (such as behavior therapy, behavior analysis, or occupational therapy).

If you want to use your background in education, behavior analysis or sensory-motor development to shape early childhood curricula, support neurodiverse learners, and coach teachers in real-time, this role is for you.

Details

~ 10 months, 40 hours/week. Work from early August to mid June.

~ Pay range is $57,000-59,000

Requirements

~ Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education and experience teaching preschool age children is preferred, but other degrees may qualify (such as behavior therapy, behavior analysis, or occupational therapy).

~ Valid driver's license

~ Great organization

~ Strong leadership skills

~ Knowledgeable about early child development

~ Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing environments, and

~ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

~ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
