Kito Cash is a 8 year old 15.1hh sorrel AQHA registered mare. She has AQHA points and has competed at the AQHA championships. Selling because we have to many horses and we do not get along. She was running 2D times and 22 second poles with previous owners and has lots of speed but I never gained the confidence to ride her that fast. She requires hock injections (due to a fracture when she was younger) on her back left hock and benefit's from her poll being shockwaved but is fine without the shockwave. She also has mild roaring(laryngeal hemiplegia). Roaring is a disease where half of the larynx is paralyzed and it causes a roaring noise when performing strenuous activity. It will progress as she gets older but hasnt seemed to be affected quite yet. She is very mareish. I like my horses to not have much attitude but she has plenty and due to that I do not get along well with her and would like her gone. Enough about the bad things, some of the good things about her is she neck reins like a dream and she is fancy broke and I think would be a great show horse for 4h events. She is very easy to catch and is one of the first to meet you at the gate. She has one vice and that is she does not like her poll/ears being messed with or touched. She takes a while to trust you to get near them and I have worked with her quite a bit with this and if you shockwave her poll she is fine with that area being touched. We had her poll xrayed this spring and the vet didnt see anything wrong with her poll but she was very tense so we got her shockwaved. She is UTD on teeth and immunizations. Breeder sold her to family with a little boy and she taught the 7 year old boy how to ride then was sold to the people before us and was used as a barrel/pole horse. I would not recommend running her until she is in shape and you have set your boundaries or else she will take advantage of you and give you some crowhops or little bucks. Im not necessarily selling as a performance horse but I know she would be fine with trail riding and 4h shows. She has been ridden English and is only ridden in a snaffle. I have ridden in bit with shank but Im thinking she doesnt like pressure on her poll. She is very very broke and listens to body well so reins are not really necessary so I have ridden her in curb bits but applied light pressure. She knows her job and will do the barrel pattern with very very little guidance. I think she would have a beautiful foal and we are considering breeding in spring.
Her dam was a 1d mare and her sire is a famous race horse. She is very well bred and stunning. She is a very easy keeper and loves attention.
